The 6″ x 1″ Surge-Sharp leather clad wheel is a plywood wheel with leather bonded to the face and both sides. The plywood is trued on a lathe; then the leather is trued after it is bonded. The wheels will fit 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″, and 1″ shafts.
A different grit buffing compound can be applied to the face and the sides if you choose.
